Daniel's Harbour, Newfoundland. This is a pretty typical Viking Trail scene as it approaches one of the fishing towns in the region. You'll notice that this road is newly blacktopped: the pavers were working on various stretches of the highway during my visit, and delays were frequent, annoying, and (because this is the only road north to L'Anse aux Meadows) completely unavoidable. Thankfully, though, they were never terribly long. Daniel's Harbour, Terre-Neuve. Celle-ci est une scène assez typique le long du Sentier des Vikings alors qu'on approche de l'un des villages de pêcheurs de la région. On remarquera que ce chemin est nouvellement asphalté: les paveurs travaillaient à différents tronçons du chemin pendant ma visite, et les retards étaient fréquents, ennuyeux, et (parce que cela est la seule route qui mène au nord vers L'Anse-aux-Meadows) complètement inévitables. Mais heureusement, ils n'étaient jamais très longues. Daniel's Harbour, Terranova. Esta es una escena bastante típico a lo largo del Sendero de los Vikingos en el acercamiento de uno de los pueblos pesqueros de la región. Se dará cuenta que este camino está recién asfalteado: los pavimentadoras trabajaban en diversos tramos de la carretera durante mi visita, y las demoras eran frecuentes, molestosas, y (porque este es el único camino que conduce al norte hacia L'Anse aux Meadows) completamente inevitables. Afortunadamente, sin embargo, nunca eran muy largos. |
