Additional Notes | Sherif interviews Omer by phone link to Gaza. In their conversation, Omer reveals some of the suffering borne by Gazans under the brutal Israeli siege, and the lack of meaningful help from the European and even the neighboring Arab community. In parting words, Sherif mentions as a sign of hope the recent seven-ton convoy of foodstuffs and personal belongings recently delivered to Gaza as a gesture of good will by the PEOPLE of Israel (as distinguished from their Israeli "leaders"). |
