Description
Deutsch: Von den in der Höchster Neustadt konzessionierten Tabakfabriken erlangte die Fabrik des Freiherrn von Schmitz einige Bedeutung. Zwar erreichte seine Tabakmühle nicht die Dimension, wie sie im Aufriss des Ingenieurs Rebuffato von 1772 dargestellt ist. Doch zeugt dieser Plan von der zunehmenden Mechanisierung und der Arbeitsteiligkeit der Produktion im heraufziehenden Zeitalter der Industrialisierung.
