Deutsch: Tafel in Reinborn an der Friedhofsmauer mit Orts-, Kirchen- und Lindengeschichte |
| Inscription | Reinborn 410 Meter über dem Meer. Seit 1274 als Siedlung bekannt. Vermutliche Gründungszeit um das Jahr 1000. Das Kirchlein wurde 1722–24 im schlichten bäuerlichen Spätbarock errichtet. Vorher stand an ihrer Stelle eine gotische Kapelle. 1614 wurden bei Renovierungsarbeiten Grundrisse einer Vorkirche festgestellt. Die tausendjährige Linde gehört zu den bedeutendsten lebenden Naturdenkmälern im Naturpark Hochtaunus, und steht seit 1928 unter Denkmalschutz. In früheren Jahrhunderten tagte unter ihrer Krone das Gericht der Ems. |
