English: Place: Taichung
Taichung City is the third largest city of Taiwan (2,7 million people) and like the name already suggests, it is in the centre of Taiwan. It's definitely neither as vibrant as Taipei, nor as Kaohsiung, but it has a nice city centre with some interesting old buildings. I have spent some four days in the city, mostly for car spotting, but I also had time to take a look at some of the touristic sites and visited the well-known Fengjia Night Market with a new friend. |
