John Bull's delivery pack has the inscription: "English goods made for use", the wheels are inscribed "independence", "short credit", "doubtful delivery", "english only spoken", "big orders or none wanted". The german delivery boy has a package named "German goods made for sale" and wheels inscribed "every consideration given to customers", "any language spoken", "good packing", "small orders", "terms to suit customer". A road sign reads "Continental Commercial Handicap".
