Bahasa Indonesia: Taman Nasional Gunung rinjani adalah sebuah ekosistem dengan tipe hutan hujan pegunungan dan Savana, Dimana di sisi barat dan selatan di domisili oleh hutan hujan pegunungan , sedangkan di sisi timur dan Utara di domisili oleh Savana dan pohon cemara. Gunung ini berada di pulau Lombok , Nusa Tenggara Barat, dengan titik koordinat 8.4113° S, 116.4573° E . Titik tertinggi Gunung Rinjani adalah 3726 MDPL. Letusan Rinjani bertipe stratovulkanik, dan dari letusan purba gunung ini membentuk sebuah danau yang disebut Danau Segara Anak dengan luas 1100Hapada ketinggian 2010mdpl , dengan kedalaman rata2 285 m. Gunung Rinjani ditetapkan sebagai Taman Nasional Pada Tahun 1997 melalui Surat Keputusan Menteri Kehutanan No.280/Kpts-II/1997 dengan luas 40.000hA walaupun dilapangan luasnya lebih dari 41,000hA.
