Description
日本語: ヤミ族男女の盛裝。男の被つて居るのは銀製の兜，銀貨を潰して作つたものである。ヤミ族は甚だ銀を貴び，彼等と交易するには銀貨を用びるのであるが，彼等には銀貨は貨幣でなくて，地金であり，それ故なるべく舊時の大形の銀貨はど價値が大きい譯である。で昔の一圓銀貨が最珍重されるから面白い。彼等は他民族から銀を得貯蓄してきれを躊潰してこの銀の兜を少しづつ大きくして行く事を終生と樂として居る。彼等の寶物であり財產であるから非常に大切にし，祭の時用ひる以外秘藏して置く。左方の女の胸にかけて居るのは瑪瑙玉の胸飾り，ブラ下つて居る四邊形のものは銀の延板で腕に着けて居る輪も銀製，皆銀貨を潰したものである。（宮本延人，臺北帝國大學土俗人種學研究室助手）
