Description

A gauche, le mausolée Tchachmaï Ayub (Source de Job) commémore le jaillissement d'une source dans le désert grâce à Job (Ayub).

Le bâtiment a été construit au XIIème siècle, sous le règne d'Arslan Khan. Il a été transformé par la suite et la coupole conique a été ajoutée en 1379 sous Tamerlan. Sa forme évoque les tentes des nomades du Khorezm.

Le mausolée abrite aujourd'hui un musée de l'eau, mais à l'intérieur un robinet donne la possibilité de recueillir l'eau de la source vénérée.

A droite, le mémorial al-Boukhari qui est un musée à la mémoire du saint.
