San Paciencia (Local name for the Pensive Christ — seated Jesus mocked in the pretorium, similar to the El Dios de la Peña in several other Oaxaca churches.) Cheek on hand, in white cotton trousers, dun cape, a lei of gold tinsel, blood on face as if dripping from forehead. Wood, gesso, paint; fabric clothing; painted eyes, sculpted hair; about 1½' (45 cm).
