Description
English: Sourced from various locations including China, Southeast Asia, and the United States is this collection of tektites - dark-colored blobs of naturally occurring glass formed by the melting of rock and sand after a meteorite impact - which is now displayed in the "35 Centuries of Glass" gallery at the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, New York. As seen during a March 2023 visit.
