P.5326 The bell is decorated with images of Brahma, Vishnu, Surya and Ganesa on four sides. The lower portion of it is decorated with adhopadma (inverted lotus) motifs, beaded designs, and festoons. Seated in Padmasana, Brahma is holding rosary, sruk, kundika and his right hand is in abhayamudra. Standing in Samapada Vishnu is holding conch, charka and gada in this three hands and the fourth one is kept in abhayamudra. Surya standing in samapada is holding lotus buds. Ganesa seated in Lalitasana is holding rosary, battle axe, broken tusk and modaka in his four hands. |
