English: Temple Wood Looking south about a hundred yards into Temple Wood along the main forest road in this Forestry Commission site. Temple Wood is a semi-natural oak and ash woodland near Aslackby, Lincolnshire. It is part of the ancient Kesteven Forest and, although this northern part of the wood is reasonably recent, planted over old ridge and furrow land, it is part of a swathe of woodland that has been managed forest for many centuries. See TF0626 for another wood in Kesteven Forest. |
