Description

The Temple of Saturn, with the Arch of Septimius Severus on the left and the three columns of the Temple of Vespasian on the right.

The architrave of the temple bears the inscription ILS 3326 (= CIL 6.937 = CIL 6.31209): Senatus populusque Romanus / incendio consumptum restituit

The Senate and People of Rome restored this after it was consumed by fire.
