English: Ancient Greek Hydria (Water Jug) "Hadra Vase" from Alexandria, Egypt, ca. 213 BCE. Painted in Greek: "Year 9, Mecheir; Damo[...], son of Nearchos, Member of the Sacred Embassy, of Boeotia; by Theodotos, agorastes."

This version of the image has been slightly cropped, resized for deeper dpi, white balanced, and the background changed to solid white.
