TEXTILE GALLERY :

The variety of textiles numbering 944 belonging to the period between the 16th and 20th centuries are available. Some of the fine select textiles; printed; painted and embroidered ;woven in cotton; silk; woolen and mixed material are on display. Majority of the collection includes sherwanis; shawls; chanderi Saree's; pythan Saree's; Punjabi phoolkari; chougas; parkas; turbans; kalamkari bedspreads and curtains; carpets; saddle clothes and zari bags. Mention can be made of Tibetan thangkas; the holy banners of the Buddhist with mandalas; and images of Buddha; Bodhisattva and manjusri of18th and 19th centuries.
