Description

I visited the Greek island of Thassos three times in the 1980's and fell in love with the place. Several days each year I visited the beach of Makriamos, which was owned by a hotel complex. You could walk over a hill from the town (Limenas) or catch a small boat taxi which was easier and more fun.

It's been a long time since I was in Thassos and I often think about the place and people. Now I'm retired and have more free time I hope to return soon (and take many pictures of course!)
