English: The 'Otterbank' at Donaghadee. The Londonderry port tug 'Otterbank' in Donaghadee harbour. The tug has a large plough or rake attached to the stern "A frame". This will be towed through the harbour to loosen silt. See also 1302621 and 1460864 for some related images.
The harbour had been emptied of boats for this operation, although Donaghadee Lifeboat arrived back into the harbour while I was there - see 1780543. |
