Description |
Office building, A. H A M Back Co. Plumbing Supplies, Kaiser Cafe to Right, Rainier Beer sign, ca. 1910 The Hambach Building was completed 1914, so "ca. 1910" is a bit early. Alcohol prohibition in Washington state began January 1, 1916, so there's a pretty small window for the date on this. The building later had another story added, and is now (2023) part of the Merrill Place complex. As of 2023 it consists of condominium apartments and the Cowgirls, Inc. bar. For more information see Summary for 419 1st AVE / Parcel ID 5247800200, Seattle Department of Neighborhoods. |
