English: The A499 and the new bypass from the slopes of Gyrn Goch The bypass begins at Aberdesach (middleground - just beyond the cloud shadow) and will run seawards of the present road past the village of Clynnog Fawr (foreground - left)with its magnificent 16thC church. It will join the present road at Gyrn Goch before leaving it again in SH3947. It will provide a relief for both drivers and residents in this area. The old road will be used for recreational activity - esp. walking and cycling. |
