English: The A686 and cottage below Hartside The road has to negotiate less steep slopes on this side of the pass and is consequentially less winding. This is one of the start of one of the more bendy sections on this side, as the road rounds the top of Rowgill Cleugh. It is a relatively long and gradual bend, first to the right and then left. |
