Description
English: The Albert, Hitchin On the corner of Walsworth and Dacre Roads, this pub survives whilst some around have closed. The first record of a public house here was in 1869, when it was a beer house known as 'The Early Bird'. It became the 'Prince Albert' and then 'The Albert' in honour of the deceased Prince Consort.
