Description In the end, it was worth the steep what seemed like a 45° trek to my hotel and paying a little extra for a room with a view. Here, is the American side of the falls, taken from my hotel room. More on that later. I wondered about the bus rank in the foreground. This is probably a parking lot for tour buses. There is no intra-city bus service in Niagara, and inter- city buses to Toronto and other places depart from a place called 'Niagara Transit Station' at the far end of town.
