| Description |
English: The Anchor Inn at High Offley, Staffordshire. On the Shropshire Union Canal, the Anchor Inn is very old fashioned and small, and serves a fine pint of Wadworth's from the hand-pump (recently installed); until a few months ago it was served directly from the cellar and brought up in a jug. Plenty of choice ciders also available. It faces the canal rather than the road. Not always open midweek in the winter, so check before you go. |
