Summary edit

Description
English: Before circa 1975 the pub was called (William) Bushe's. The pub takes its name from the triangle rung to signify points in the daily routine in the nearby Mountjoy Jail. The triangle was made famous in a very popular ballad called "The Auld Triangle". The song featured first in a play by Brendan Behan called The Quare Fellow (1954). Brendan credited his brother Dominic Behan for writing it. The triangle and the hammer to beat it are no longer used still but are on exhibit in the prison.
