English: The Ballydown Road, Banbridge (2)
See 184035. This is the Ballydown Road looking in the other direction and from the other side of Lindsays Bridge 184032. The building on the left is the former Ballydown National School, now a private house. It should not be confused with this one http://www.uftm.org.uk/collections_and_research/folk_collections/rural_buildings/ballydown_national_school/. On the right, above and behind the chevrons, are the remains of a bridge which carried the former GNR(I) Knockmore Jct. Castlewellan railway (closed 1955) across the road. |
