Description
English: The Baptist Burial Ground, Four Mile Bridge A plaque on the gate states that the ground was a gifted by Col.Hampton-Lewis in 1886. Hampton-Lewis of Henllys (nr. Beaumaris) and Bodior (nr. Rhoscolyn) was the colonel of the 5th (Princess Charlotte of Wales's) Dragoon Guards. The heavy cavalry regiment, active between 1685 and 1922 when it merged with the "Skins" (the 6th Inniskilling Dragoons), was nick-named "The Green Horse".
