| Description |
English: The Bateman Walk through the Tranquillity Gardens Leading from the 1664292 and around the back of 1664264, this path was once the private walk from the Grange. It became very badly overgrown and in 2005, to celebrate their Centenary, Biddulph Rotary Club restored it to its former glory; it is now maintained by Biddulph Town Council. The path is named after the Bateman family who once owned Biddulph Grange and, possibly in particular, James Bateman who designed and created the famous gardens attached to the Grange. |
