The Beatles & "Penny Lane" Fire Station
This is the fire station referred to in the Paul McCartney written Beatles song Penny Lane.... Which is actually Allerton Community Fire Station..
Referred in lyrics...

In Penny Lane there is a fireman with an hourglass
And in his pocket is a portrait of the Queen.
He likes to keep his fire engine clean
It's a clean machine.

Due to cuts by the Government this station closed on 1st of April 2015. After numerous protest and petitions the building now stands empty. I would imagine that it will be used by some business in the future..... It would make interesting housing with loads of parking spaces, but you may get plenty of visitors peering through the windows : )
