Description
English: The Beatles Experience, Liverpool
Welcome to the Casbah Coffee Club
           (Birthplace of The Beatles)

The Casbah Coffee Club opened on Saturday 29th August
195[9] with JOHN LENNON, PAUL McCARTNEY,
GEORGE HARRISON and KEN BROWN performing as
“THE QUARRYMEN.”

During its hey-day “THE CASBAH” became a regular haunt
to numerous Liverpool groups and the club witnessed
the transformation of “THE QUARRYMEN” to
“THE BEATLES.”

PETE BEST was their original drummer and shared with the
group the early stages of their phenomenal success.

‘The Beatles Story’ proudly presents this new exhibit which
features props and images from the original Casbah Coffee
Club.

These have been kindly donated by 'THE BEST FAMILY’.
