English: The Blackwater at North Camp. The River Blackwater at North Camp, almost lost beneath a maze of flyovers, slips roads, and roundabouts all associated with the Blackwater Valley Road. Despite its culverted and insignificant appearance, it does in fact mark the border between Surrey and Hampshire, which I suppose I was straddling when I took the photograph. Nearby the course of the river is almost lost in a mass of worked-out gravel pits but a few miles further on it flows through open meadows. |
