English: This view shows San Francisco after the earthquake and fire from the vantage of Nob Hill looking southwest. In the distance and at the extreme right is the Hall of Records. A bare, scalded tree trunk and bush are in the foreground amongst bricks and rubble with damaged buildings in the background. On the left of the foreground is an open area with rubble spilling out of it.
