Summary
editDescriptionThe Cartwheel - geograph.org.uk - 404014.jpg |
English: The Cartwheel Situated in the tranquil village of Whitsbury, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, it was originally two cottages built in 1796. Around 1860 it became an inn and was just known at the Wheel. Currently a family run pub serving homemade traditional food. Rumours of hauntings surround the Inn with sightings and physical actions being noted by previous occupants. The Cartwheel nestles under the shadow of the local church where William Hill is buried. |
