Description

Day 5 - We're now in South Dakota, in the Black Hills. We encountered our first herd of Bison in Custer.

The bull bison must be one of the most miserable creatures to exist. It spends all its time ensuring its cow is not taken by another bull. It seems to never end as they don't spilt up into pairs, but are still part of a herd of a 1000 or more, and so threats come constantly from the unattached bulls.
