| Description | The Church of St. Petrock, Exeter, 7 September 2014. Dedicated to a 6th Century Welsh Abbot, some Saxon remnants may be present; however, much of the present building dates from the 11th Century (Norman) but it was extensively altered in the following centuries. In 1413 (Perpendicular) the nave was extended and in 1520 further enlarged. The tower was rebuilt in 1513 and an octagonal turret added on top in 1737. The church was also modernised in 1587, 1828 and 1881. |
