| Description |
English: Hazrat Bari Imam (may Allah have mercy on him) was born in a village in Chakwal, married in a village in Abbottabad district and spent a long time in worship in a cave on the banks of river Haro. I had the privilege of meeting people over a hundred years of age, reflecting their first place of residence, and they told me that during the reign of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir, the evil imam was present here, with his caravan. There used to be a fountain of water from this place which used to flow fresh water and on the arrival of the king it was preached by a nakara. This process of preaching is repeated every Thursday. There is a continuum of repetition. On the occasion of every Edi-UL-Fitar, sports competitions are held here and visitors come from nearby areas. After the demise of his wife and children, the evil Imam migrated to Nurpur Shahan, where his shrine now stands. Wherever they stayed on the way, the devotees respectfully guarded these places. During the migration he remained hidden in the water for a long time. One of the difficulties that devotees face in reaching their first abode is the lack of bridges and roads in the area.
اردو: حضرت بری امام (رخمتہاللہ علیہ) چکوال کے ایک گائوں میں پیدا ہوئے ،ضلع ایبٹ آباد کے ایک گائوں سے شادی کی اور ندی ہرو کے کنارے پر ایک غار میں طویل عرصہ تک عبادت میں مصروف رہے۔ ان کی پہلی رہائش کی جگہ کی عکاسی کرتے ہوئے سو سال سے زیادہ عمر کے افراد سے مجھے ملاقات کا شرف حاصل ہوا اور انہوں نے بتایا کہ مغل بادشاہ اورنگزیب عالمگیر کے دور حکومت میں بری امام ؒ یہاں موجود تھے ،باشاہ اپنے قافلہ کے ہمراہ ان سے ملنے آیا کرتا تھا اس جگہ پانی کا ایک چشمہ بھی موجود ہے جس سے میٹھا پانی خارج ہوا کرتا تھا اور بادشاہ کی آمد پر ایک نقارا کے ذریعہ منادی کی جاتی تھی ،اس کی آج بھی ہر جمعرات کو منادی کے اس عمل کو بار بار دہرانے کا تسلسل موجود ہے ۔ہر عیدالفطر کے موقعہ پر یہاں کھیلوں کے مقابلے منعقد ہوتے ہیں اور قرب،جوار کے علاقوں سے زائرین کی آمد ہوتی ہے۔ زوجہ اور بچوں کی رحلت کے بعد بری امام ؒ نور پور شاہاں کی طرف جہاں اب ان کا مزار ہے ہجرت کر گئے۔ راستے میں جہاں جہاں قیام کیا عقیدت مندوں نے ان جگہوں کی احتراماً حفاظت کی۔ دوران ہجرت کافی عرصہ تک پانی میں روپوش رہے۔ ان کی پہلی قیام گاہ تک رسائی کیلئے عقیدت مندوں کو جن مشکلات کا سامنا کرنا پڑتا ہے ان میں اس جگہ پر پُل اور سڑک کا فقدان ہے
