English: Still from the American drama film The Forbidden Thing (1920) with child actor Newton Hall (1914–1971) and James Kirkwood, on page 80 of the November 27, 1920 Exhibitors Herald. In the film the sound of the child's voice prevents Kirkwood's character from committing suicide by drowning.
