English: It is estimated by the 2030s, 75% of coral reefs will have experienced extreme heat stress at least twice every decade, and 30% will have experienced it annually. The percentage of coral reefs that will be subjected to extreme heat stress each year is expected to rise to 75% by the 2040s and 90 % by the 2050s.
