Description
English: The Dam was built between 1913-1918 to divert water to the Grand Valley for irrigation. This image is shot from down river on the gatekeeper's grounds in October 2020. The insets show stonework done on the gatekeeper's buildings and walls in 1939 by Civilian Conservation Corp. workers. Note the fruit trees that benefit through the region with the aid of the irrigation water.
