English: The Grove, Whitchurch Pleasant small late-20th-century housing estate off the B5476/Tarporley Road (foreground) on the north edge of Whitchurch. The estate contains detached, mainly two-storey houses with small gardens, and probably dates from the 1950s or 60s; the houses around the outer edge of the estate still back onto farmland. The dismantled Whitchurch to Chester railway crosses Tarporley Road in the belt of trees at the far right of this picture; the route continues through the gardens of the houses on the right |
