Description
English: The Hanging Stone Marked on the 1/50,000 map as an antiquity. It is probably a boundary stone as it sits on the line between Lancashire and West Yorkshire just north of the Laneshaw Bridge to Haworth road. It is 7ft long (2 metres) and rests at an angle of 45 degrees. It is inscribed together with its alternative name of Water Sheddles Cross.
