Summary edit

Description
English: The Ofala festival is a celebration of the cultural heritage of the people of Onitsha. The festival gives room for deep reflections, stock-taking, and setting goals for the future. In other words, it is a forum for community development. It is a season for thanksgiving to the ancestors, for sparing the lives of the people and allowing a successful planting season.
