Description

English: The Iron Pillar of Delhi is 23 feet 8 inches in length with a diameter of 16 inches. It was constructed by Chandragupta II. It has captured a lot of attention due to its rust resistant composition. It has resisted corrosion for over 1600 years despite of rising temperatures and increasing pollution. The pillar which is made of 98% iron was included in the Out of Place Artifacts (OOPArts).
