Summary edit
DescriptionThe Khmer Rouge lunatics threw adults down from up there (14451581054).jpg | The demented Khmer Rouge murders threw thousands of men and women down this deep shaft to their deaths. And to imagine I'm standing at the very spot where those poor unfortunates landed, dead or dying. All in all, it felt super creepy. I am not much of a believer as it is, and watching all this was only reinforcing my atheism. Especially considering that those murderous psycopaths were never brought to justice or punished for their crimes. Two of the leaders died before trial, one has been declared unfit to stand trial, only one, Duch, their chief executioner is in the slammer now. The chief lunatic Pol Pot's must trusted deputy was murdered by Pol Pot himself, despite his own frail health in exile. (Battambang, Cambodia, Apr. 2014) |
