Description
English: Military map of Crimea Peninsula showing roads, places covered with forests and thick underwoods, orchards, gardens, and vineyards, in which the celebrated Muscat Grape is grown, water mills, and post stations. Relief shown by hachures; depths in inset map shown by soundings.

"The Russian names, title and observations were translated or rendered into English by Major Jervis himself, and various useful and important additions also made to the original Russian map."

Issued as no. 2 of Maps of the seat of war, for the many prepared under the direction of Major Thomas Best Jervis ... of the Corps of engineers, E.I.S., specially and by authority for the use of the staff and officers of the allied armies and the government.
