The water tower and clock of the long shop can be seen along with the result of the works war effort.In foreground is a QF 12 pounder 12 cwt Mk V dual-purpose naval gun from World War II. A gun (one of many manufactured) to defend small boats and freighters during the war. This example came from HMS Turbulent. |
