Description
English: The M5 motorway across Twyning Meadow One mile below junction 8 the M5 crosses the river Avon and its floodplain. There are two bridges, the one pictured is the smaller of the two and spans a brook, the larger bridge over the river Avon is beyond the embankment and inaccessible at the time due to the flooding. This section of the M5 was built between 1967 and 1970.
