Description
English: The Maim looking south west The Maim is an area of heather moorland above Crathie which is a designated Special Area of Conservation. It is managed as a grouse moor by rotational muirburn and is also used to graze sheep. The conservation area extends as far as the ridge which runs across the middle distance to Creag a' Chlamhain. The weather was closing in from the west and later there were heavy snow showers.
