English: The image shows the Martyrs' Memorial Pillar (Shaheed Minar) of the Bir Tikendrajit Park in Imphal, Manipur, India. The historic pillar is adorned with the multiple statues of divine mythical creature named "Kanglasha" of ancient Meitei mythology and religion. Notably, the creature Kanglasha is depicted in the official Emblem of the Government of Manipur. This memorial monument is dedicated to the martyrs who bravely sacrificed their lives in the Anglo-Manipuri war of 1891 AD.  |
