English: The Plestor, Oad Street This fine old house bears a Historic Building of Kent plaque.It is marked on the map as Vinson's Farmhouse but is apparently now known as yew Tree Cottage yet the words over the door are The Plestor - most confusing. It is a 14th century aisled hall with later additions. A nice display of magnolias just coming into flower. |
